There’s again a big news in the market of technology.
Microsoft is soon going to launch its new version of Windows, Windows 10. The
tentative date as being heard from the big galleries is supposed to be
September 30th 2014.
Comparing the release dates of Windows 7 and Windows 8
i.e. 22 July 2009 and 26 October 2012. The company took around more than three
years for its next big release. Even after that on 18th October 2013
Microsoft released yet another advancement over Windows 8 as Windows 8.1. But
the fact still is that Windows 8 has not successful in honing the legacy of
Windows world. Many business arenas has completely refused to digest Windows 8
and are still on their way with the all time favourite Windows 7.
Microsoft world itself seems to be well aware of the
facts and that is why within just one year of release of 8.1 Windows 10 is all
set to go next month. The big question now is what have Microsoft tried now to
bring again the boom as was the case with Windows 7. Perhaps the simplicity was
biggest factor in version 7 which Microsoft failed to provide with version 8.
So with Windows 10 following changes are expected to
arrive:

1. Return of the Start menu.
2. Removal of charms bar.
3. Support for virtual desktops.
4. Cortana integration within OS.
5. Support for metro apps.
With the
following features the first sample version will be available for developers
next month and soon with the start of next year Windows 10 will be available
publicly.
Not only
this, Microsoft has decided to end the support for its previous version. You won’t be able to buy a PC with Windows 7
after 31st October 2014. The end-of-sales date for PCs running the
consumer-focused versions of Windows 7 is October 31. You need to act quickly
if you really admire the version 7 of Windows over Windows 8. All you will get
after October 31st and until the Windows 10 gets released is a PC with Windows
8.
The big
challenge before Microsoft now is to come up with satisfactory changes and once
again develop the same aura which unfortunately Windows 8 failed to build. This
news might rejoice all the Windows users which have been waiting to play with
their favourite OS once again in all new moods. So stay tuned and grab the new
one as soon as it appears around...
