Classifying posts on Blogger..Resolved...

If you are reading this, you possibly are a blogger’s user. Blogger is advanced enough to facilitate you with all of the blogging content. But still the post management on Blogger is by default poor. All the posts you create are by default clustered together. So when your reader is looking for a particular post or say posts by a particular category, it may appear quite a task to carry.

Well...Nothing to worry of...If we have the problem we do have the solution too and that too the most exact solution. The one you are exactly looking for. So just relax, follow these easy steps and you will get what you want within next few minutes.

1.     So what you have got to do is to classify your posts by labels. While creating every new post Blogger allows you to add labels to your post. Find the ‘Labels’ at the right of the New Post window and provide proper label tag (or category) to your post.

2.      When you give a tag label to your post your post can be searched by that label. At the end of your post you will find mentioned Label: Label name.

3.     Click on the label name here. From the page that opens copy the address from the address bar.

4.     Now go to your blogger’s page and go to layout. Add a ‘Page’ gadget below the header of your blog.

5.     In the Page gadget page, click +Add external link.  Enter a title for your page tab to be displayed. Below it will be a enter URL box. Paste here the link that you have copied in step 3. Click Save.

6.     Check your Blog now. You should get a tab with the same title as you entered in step 5. You can repeat these steps to create as many tabs as you want.

7.     That’s all. Yes really you are done as simple as that. All that you need to do now is, next time when you create a new post give it the same label as that given to other posts of same category. All the post with same label will then be displayed on the same tab.
