Yotaphone.....First ever dual screen display android device.


With the huge number of electronics companies emerging in the field of mobile hardware development, the competition in the industry has evolved enormously. Every industry is trying to improve its customer experience in any possible way. Recently we have seen a chain of new handsets announcements including those from industry giants like Apple, Google and Samsung. This new phone was announced on Flipkart and is available exclusively on this online store from Friday, 17 October. Jumbo Electronics, a retailer and distributor in the UAE, has partnered with Flipkart to launch the dual-screen smartphone YotaPhone in India. Yota Devices has launched two smartphones so far. The first generation YotaPhone was unveiled  last year though it started shipping only by December 2013. The company upgraded its original dual-screen smartphone  with the next-generation YotaPhone.

The new phone is becoming popular for its dual screen display. The phone along with its regular front screen carries a E-ink screen at its rear end. The phone thus is a combination of a phone and a e-reader.

The 4.3-inch main display features an IPS LCD screen with an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 and full touch input. Enjoy your photos and videos in 16:9 aspect ratio and 342 ppi.

Always-on-display rear screen
The 4.3-inch rear always-on display screen features an electronic paper display with 640 x 360 resolution. The always-on display stays on even if your battery is completely drained, due to the e-ink technology. Moreover, the display is protected by the world's first curved Corning Gorilla Glass which is damage-resistant. The screen is excellently suitable for e-book reader. For those who like to read on the go, this seems to be a perfect combination. Apart from this the rear screen can also be configured for twitter and facebook feeds.

The Yota Phone features a 13 MP primary camera and a 1 MP secondary camera. Click life's precious moments with your Yota Phone's 13 MP camera or add a face to your video chats with its front camera. Moreover, the 13 MP camera is capable of shooting full HD 1080p videos at 30 fps.

The phone is available on flipkart from Friday 17 October, and is currently priced at Rs 23,499. Flipkart. The store expects to sell 10,000 pieces of the same by the end of this year.
